Tearing this place away from my heart, but it’s always full anyway, and 1.5 people read this blog, so no harm done.

It’s famous for its rojões and cow stomach with green sauce. This is an amazing place to eat for 5-8 eur, best achieved if you are not alone. I’ve added a few highlights of their menu with items I personally recommend. Remember that items for 8 eur and higher are a dose, which means that it’s for at least two people or for one VERY hungry person.

If you’re a stupidly optimistic person who works for a Portuguese company, like me, get a sandes com rojão (3 eur) with a fino (1 eur) and enjoy your amazing cheap lunch.

Or you can go all out, like we did last night, with rojões à moda da casa with potatoes, salad, two finos, a sandwich with presunto and Serra cheese, and a dessert. It all came up to 17.10.

You might have to wait in line to get a table though. And this place is a bit hard to find. But it’s there!
